Entries Now Publicly Available from the "Commitment to Life" Contest Movie! Movies show the philosophy of employees across the Kyowa Hakko Kirin Group

Tokyo, Japan, February 26th, 2016 --- Kyowa Hakko Kirin Co., Ltd. (Tokyo, 4151; President and CEO: Nobuo Hanai; "Kyowa Hakko Kirin") announced today that some entries submitted by Kyowa Hakko Kirin Group employees to the "Commitment to Life" contest movie are now publicly available on its global website.

"Commitment to Life" is the mission statement of Kyowa Hakko Kirin. The statement was created through extensive discussions between employees and management. The statement expresses the strong determination of each employee to devote themselves to saving the lives of all who are suffering from diseases through the development of new drugs.

This "Commitment to Life" contest was held in 2015 to cultivate familiarity with "Commitment to Life" as our common foundation. Employees in Japan and overseas entered the contest by submitting three-minute movies on the theme of "Commitment to Life". The winners were decided through employee votes and other methods. The movie entries now publicly available demonstrate the broad interest in, and familiarity with, the value system and effort across the Kyowa Hakko Kirin Group.
